Russian Orthodox Cathedral

The Nativity Cathedral in Rostov

From Wikipedia:

The Russian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, also known as the Orthodox Christian Church of Russia, is that body of Christians who are united under the Patriarch of Moscow, who in turn is in communion with the other patriarchs and primates of the Eastern Orthodox Church. In this way, Russian Orthodox believers are in communion with all other Eastern Orthodox believers.

The Russian Orthodox church is heavily into icons. Pictures, murals, statues... Their cathedrals are very ornate. I haven't seen this much gold plating since Mr. T was on the A-Team. They had a staff of babushkas keeping this place clean; I've never smelled so much polish.

Chandeliers were everywhere

Do the primates of the Eastern Orthodox Church have anything in common with the primates of the White House?
