Flagstaff, AZ

Our room

Last Thursday, my brother and I took a two day trip to the South Rim and Flagstaff. Flagstaff is one of my top 5 American cities. It's a combination of things, but I love going there. We stayed at the historic Hotel Monte Vista and got the Humphrey Bogart room.

We arrived there Thursday afternoon after a couple hours at the South Rim. Thursday night and Friday morning were spent wandering the city to see what we could see.

No ghosts in our room... that we know of.

That is the first time I ever noticed wheel chocks on train rails.

@Tom T - That's good train knowledge.

Love the Hotel Monte Vista! The Debbie Reynolds room -- personal favorite of mine....

That looked like a damn good burger, too. Was it?

@Audie It was a good burger, but may have been too robust. Lot of competing flavors - all of them good. They use beef from a local ranch, so it's fresh and untainted. They also had a twist of serving it on an English muffin
